Thousand Islands Rescue's Fleet

Thousand Islands Rescue currently runs two Wheeled Coach Type I ambulances and one McCoy Miller Type III ambulance equipped for advanced life support, and a fully-equipped Paramedic Fly Car which lets a single paramedic respond to calls for Paramedic/ALS assistance while leaving a full ambulance crew in service. We also have an ATV and ATV/snowmobile rescue trailer designed for use reaching patients in rough terrain, and our three-unit TIERS EMS Bike Team that functions in crowded events such as street festivals and fairs. Most recently, Alexandria Bay's River Hospital donated a medical/handicap transport van to TIERS after changes at the hospital eliminated their need for it. TIERS, Inc. made it's first official medical transport on August 30, 2011.
