Thousand Islands Rescue

Thousand Islands Rescue currently runs three McCoy Miller Type III ambulances equipped for advanced life support. All run first call from our headquarters on Union Street in Clayton. At far left is the original 43-9-3, from the LaFargeville Fire Department, now our Medical Support Unit, MCI 1. We also have an ATV and ATV/snowmobile rescue trailer designed for use reaching patients in rough terrain, and our three-unit TIERS EMS Bike Team that functions in crowded events such as street festivals and fairs.
